Trends in the prevalence, awareness, treatment and control of hypertension over twenty years in Geneva, Switzerland
This study examines the prevalence, awareness, treatment and control of hypertension in the Geneva population over a twenty-year period. While certain groups remain at risk, the study shows that the prevalence of hypertension and its control have improved overall, with a reduction in socio-economic disparities.
Forgoing dental care for economic reasons in Switzerland: a population-based cross-sectional study over six years
In a Swiss region without universal dental insurance cover, the prevalence of people foregoing dental care for economic reasons was high and highly dependent on income. Efforts should be made to prevent high-risk populations from forgoing dental care.
